Job summary

Anacura Group in Belgium seeks an analytical scientist specializing in mass spectrometry to support drug development projects for clients worldwide. You will develop and validate LC-MS methods for small molecules, proteins and oligonucleotides while maintaining GMP-compliant data integrity.

You will operate high-resolution MS platforms, troubleshoot instrumentation, and act as subject matter expert. English is essential; Dutch is an asset.

Qualifications

• PhD (or MSc) in a scientific field with a strong MS focus.
• Extensive hands-on LC-MS operation and troubleshooting on HRMS/quad platforms.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills for complex investigations.
• Experience with RP-LC or HILIC and nano-LC is a plus.
• Ability to work to high quality standards and meet timelines.
• Excellent English; Dutch is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Develop LC-MS/MS methods for small molecules, proteins and/or oligonucleotides.
• Operate and maintain LC-MS/MS and HRMS instrumentation including calibration and basic troubleshooting.
• Act as SME on Mass Spectrometry.
• Support introduction, qualification and transfer of new MS technologies/workflows.
• Ensure GMP and data integrity compliance.
• Deliver data and reports to high scientific/quality standards.
• Interact with clients to discuss scientific aspects.
• Represent Anabiotec/Anacura at scientific conferences.
