Scalable Capital is building a brand-new banking platform with a focus on scalable backend systems and cutting-edge tech. You will work with engineers and researchers to translate business challenges into robust software that connects to major financial industry partners.

The role emphasizes modern development practices, RESTful APIs, and a strong focus on scalable, well-documented code. Offices in Munich or Berlin offer relocation and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• A university degree in a relevant field of study (e.g. computer science, engineering, sciences, ...) or a comparable qualification.
• Experience in Kotlin, Docker, Spring Boot, cloud infrastructure and event-based asynchronous architectures.
• AWS, Terraform, Python and GraphQL would be a strong plus.
• Experience in modern software development processes (e.g. agile and self-sufficient teams, CI/CD, test automation).
• Experience in designing scalable, loosely-coupled architectures.
• Proficient RESTful API design and well-architected, well-documented code.
• Strong analytical thinking and clear communication to engineers and stakeholders.
