Médiane Benelux is seeking a Senior Technical Lead (Java) to join a long-term program modernizing real-time railway control systems. You will work in an agile team delivering high-availability software for critical operations.

Join a knowledgeable engineering environment with strong focus on cybersecurity, performance, and on-call rotations, while mentoring developers and shaping technical direction across the Java stack.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Computer Science or equivalent
• 5–10 years of experience as a Senior Java Full-Stack Engineer or Technical Lead
• Confirmed experience in Agile/Scrum (Scrum Master certification is a plus)

Responsabilités

• Act as Technical Lead within a full-stack Java squad
• Design, develop, and maintain complex real-time applications, including new features and refactoring
• Ensure performance, reliability, and high availability of production systems
• Support and coach developers through strong technical expertise
• Promote clean, readable, and reusable code
• Produce and maintain technical and functional documentation
• Apply internal guidelines, standards, and procedures
• After onboarding, participate in a 24/7 on-call rotation (approx. one week every eight weeks)
