Médiane Benelux in Bruxelles, Belgium, is seeking a hands-on Technical Lead for a portfolio of mission-critical Java applications monitoring real-time railway traffic. You will join an agile team to design, develop, and maintain complex real-time software, ensure high availability, and drive performance improvements.

You will mentor developers, produce technical docs, and participate in a 24/7 on-call rotation after onboarding.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
• 5–10 years of experience as a Senior Java Full-Stack Engineer or Technical Lead.
• Scrum Master certification is a plus.

Responsabilités

• Act as Technical Lead within a full-stack Java squad.
• Design, develop, and maintain complex real-time applications, including new features and refactoring.
• Ensure performance, reliability, and high availability of production systems.
• Support and coach developers through strong technical expertise.
• Promote clean, readable, and reusable code.
• Produce and maintain technical and functional documentation.
• Apply internal guidelines, standards, and procedures.
• After onboarding, participate in a 24/7 on-call rotation.
