Role Overview
We are looking for an experienced Java Developer to join projects within the Healthcare & Social Services domain.
The successful candidate will contribute to the development and delivery of high-quality applications, applying modern Java technologies, service-oriented architecture principles, and Agile development practices.
Experience with BelRAI is a strong advantage.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain enterprise Java applications.
- Design and implement robust, scalable, and maintainable software solutions.
- Work with Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA) and web services.
- Develop and integrate RESTful APIs and back-office integrations.
- Translate functional and technical requirements into effective solutions.
- Apply development best practices and coding standards.
- Write unit tests and support test-driven development.
- Collaborate with developers, architects, testers, and other stakeholders.
- Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and contribute to continuous improvement.
- Ensure high-quality and reliable project deliveries.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues throughout the development lifecycle.
Required Skills & Experience
- 5+ years of professional Java development experience.
- Strong experience with Java and J2EE.
- Good knowledge of Spring / Spring Boot.
- Experience with REST APIs and web services.
- Understanding of Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA).
- Experience with SOAP and Swagger.
- Experience with Angular 2+.
- Knowledge of JSF and JBoss.
- Experience with PostgreSQL.
- Knowledge of Docker and Git.
- Experience with JUnit / Unitils or comparable testing frameworks.
- Familiarity with TestLink is an advantage.
- Strong understanding of RESTful API design and back-office integration.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
- Knowledge of Test-Driven Development (TDD).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to apply best practices and deliver high-quality solutions.
Nice to Have
- Previous experience with BelRAI.
- Experience in the healthcare or social services sector.
- Strong knowledge of enterprise integration and service-oriented architectures.
