Optiwisers is seeking an experienced Java developer to join an international client in the Railway Infrastructure & Transportation sector. You will analyze requirements, translate them into technical solutions, and contribute to the development and optimization of complex Java applications.

Ideally you have at least 5 years of professional Java experience, familiarity with Java 6, JavaFX and Swing, and strong communication in Dutch or French plus English.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of professional Java development experience.
• Experience with Java 6, JavaFX and Swing.
• Fluent Dutch or French and strong English communication skills.
• Experience working in a Scrum/LeSS environment.

Responsabilités

• Analyze business requirements and translate them into technical solutions
• Develop, maintain, and optimize complex Java applications
• Work with legacy technologies including Java 6, JavaFX, and Swing
• Contribute to test automation and CI/CD initiatives
• Ensure code quality through Clean Code and SOLID principles
• Collaborate in a Scrum/LeSS environment
• Coach and mentor junior developers
• Participate in an on-call rotation after training
