BE Consultancy Group in Brussels is seeking an experienced Senior Java Developer to join an international IT team, contributing to the design, development, integration and implementation of Java applications and enterprise software solutions.

You will work with Spring and Hibernate, perform data modelling and software design, and coordinate technical architecture across cross‑border projects. Fluent English is required, and relocation to Brussels is expected for this role.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, IT or a related field.
• 5+ years of professional Java development experience.
• Strong knowledge of Spring.
• Strong knowledge of Hibernate.
• Experience with software design, development and system integration.
• Good understanding of data modelling and technical architecture.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work effectively within an international and multicultural environment.
• Fluent English, both written and spoken.
• Willingness to relocate to Brussels, Belgium.

Responsabilités

• Design and develop Java components and reusable building blocks.
• Analyse and support the integration of different information systems.
• Perform data analysis and data modelling.
• Contribute to and coordinate the implementation of the technical architecture.
• Participate in technical working groups, progress meetings and meetings with users and stakeholders.
• Define testing requirements and provide technical support throughout the testing process.
• Support technical analysis, testing, deployment, evaluation and reporting activities.
• Prepare and maintain relevant technical documentation.
