TCrew in Belgium is seeking a Senior Java Backend Developer to design and build scalable microservices with Spring Boot and Kafka, focusing on performance, reliability, and maintainable code in a fast-paced cloud environment.

You will implement robust unit and integration tests, participate in code reviews, document technical specifications, and collaborate with ops on containerized deployments using Kubernetes, all while delivering high-quality backend services and mentoring juniors.

Are you an expert in Java development with a deep understanding of microservices and event-driven architecture ? We're looking for a Senior Java Backend Developer to work on cutting-edge backend systems with a focus on performance, scalability, and reliability.

• Develop and maintain high-quality Java code with a strong focus on Spring Boot and Kafka
• Design and implement scalable microservices architectures
• Write unit and integration tests to ensure the quality and reliability of the software
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues reported by integration and qualification teams
• Participate in code reviews and technical discussions to maintain high code quality
• Contribute to system specifications and technical documentation
• Work with containers and Kubernetes orchestration for operational deployment and monitoring
• A Java expert with solid experience in backend development
• Proficient in Spring and Spring Boot frameworks
• Experienced in working with Kafka and event-driven architecture
• Strong in object-oriented programming and multi-threading
• Comfortable working with microservices and cloud-based environments
• A team player who can work autonomously when needed
• Passionate about writing clean, maintainable, and high-performance code
• Fluent in English and eager to contribute to a collaborative technical environment
