Job summary

EUROPEAN DYNAMICS Group is seeking an Application Architect (Java) fluent in English to join the Brussels team. The role involves developing and maintaining software, designing component architecture for a CMS, and collaborating with client IT teams on site in Brussels, Belgium.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's in IT with 11+ years' experience, strong Java/Spring Boot and Angular skills, plus expertise in web services and cloud architectures. On-site work at customer premises is possible.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in IT or relevant discipline with 11+ years IT experience.
• Min 4 years Java expertise and 4 years in web services.
• Min 3 years Angular experience and strong Java/Spring Boot skills.
• Strong knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, Gradle and Oracle.
• Experience with ORM tools (Hibernate/JPA) and Atlassian tools (Jira/Confluence/Bitbucket).
• Knowledge of architecture patterns, microservices and cloud.
• Excellent command of English.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain software applications.
• Design and develop component architecture for a web CMS.
• Analyze integration of different information systems.
• Perform data analysis and data modelling.
• Produce software architecture documents.
• Participate in technical working groups and meetings with users.
• Assist in testing, documentation, deployment, and reporting.
• Review architecture and migrate existing systems to the cloud.
• Provide deployment support and technical training as needed.
