Job summary

Accenture Belgium is seeking a Senior Infrastructure & Cloud Architect to own the technical leadership of cloud and hybrid transformation programmes for enterprise clients. You will define standards, patterns, roadmaps, advise IT leadership and CxOs, drive multi-cloud adoption, and mentor junior architects.

You will contribute to pre‑sales, thought leadership and capability development, engage in business development, and shape secure, cost-aware cloud platforms across AWS, Azure and GCP.

Qualifications

• Deep expertise in multi-cloud architecture (AWS, Azure, GCP) and large-scale hybrid cloud deployments.
• Mastery of Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation, Bicep, Pulumi) and GitOps practices.
• Expert-level container orchestration: Kubernetes (EKS, AKS, GKE), Helm, service meshes (Istio, Linkerd).
• Advanced networking: SD-WAN, BGP, ExpressRoute/Direct Connect, Zero Trust Networking, SASE.
• Strong cloud security architecture: IAM, encryption, compliance frameworks (ISO 27001, SOC 2, GDPR, NIS2).
• Experience defining enterprise-grade CI/CD pipelines and DevSecOps practices at scale.
• Ability to design high-availability, disaster recovery, and business continuity architectures.
• Demonstrated ability to lead technical teams and engage at CxO level.
• Strong analytical skills for architecture trade-offs, cost modelling, and risk assessment.

The role

The role As a Senior Infrastructure & Cloud Architect, you will own the technical leadership of complex cloud and hybrid transformation programmes for enterprise clients. Recognised as an architectural authority, you will define standards, patterns, and technology roadmaps, advising IT leadership and CxOs on their strategic choices. You will drive multi-cloud adoption (AWS, Azure, GCP), architect resilient and secure cloud-native platforms, and actively contribute to pre‑sales, innovation, and practice capability development. You will also serve as a mentor for junior and mid‑level architects across your scope.

Key Responsibilities

• Knowledge of legacy infrastructure or mainframe modernisation patterns.
• Consulting background in managed services or systems integration environments.
• Exposure to edge computing, industrial IoT, or 5G infrastructure architectures.

Relevant Certifications

• AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Professional.
• Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert (AZ‑305).
• Google Professional Cloud Architect.
• Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA).
• HashiCorp Certified: Terraform Associate / Professional.
