EngiFlex BV is seeking a senior Project Manager to lead complex industrial CAPEX projects from concept through commissioning and handover. You will define scope, budget and baseline planning in MS Project, coordinating phases from pre-study to handover to operations.

The ideal candidate has extensive experience in the process industry, strong leadership, and the ability to steer internal and external stakeholders while maintaining schedules and budgets. Dutch/English fluency preferred.

• End-to-end ownership of industrial CAPEX projects.
• 7+ years as Project Engineer in mechanical/electrical/piping/civil engineering.
• Experience in the process industry mandatory.
• Strong MS Project planning ownership.

Project description

You will take the lead on complex, multidisciplinary industrial engineering projects, with full responsibility for scope, budget, planning, quality and safety. The scope includes both new installations and major modifications to existing assets in the process industry.

Primary Tasks & Responsibilities

• Own industrial engineering projects from concept and feasibility through commissioning and final handover.
• Define and manage project scope, deliverables, budget, business case, investment approval and baseline planning in MS Project.
• Coordinate all project phases, including pre-study, concept selection, basic and detailed engineering, procurement, contractor selection, construction, site execution, commissioning and handover to operations.
• Act as the single point of accountability for internal stakeholders and management.
• Lead multidisciplinary teams, both internal and external, across mechanical, electrical, automation, piping, civil and EHS disciplines.
• Manage scope changes, risks, claims and deviations affecting budget or schedule.
• Report progress, decisions and issues to steering committees and senior stakeholders.

Your profile

Technical profile requirements

• Minimum 10 years of experience as a Project Manager, with proven end-to-end ownership of industrial CAPEX projects.
• Minimum 7 years of experience as a Project Engineer in fields such as mechanical, electrical, piping or civil engineering.
• Demonstrated experience with pre-feasibility and concept studies, CAPEX budgeting and investment approval, and commissioning of industrial installations.
• Experience in the process industry is mandatory.
• Strong hands-on experience with MS Project, including ownership of project planning rather than follow-up only.
• Academic working level, with strong analytical skills and a helicopter view.

Methodology / Certification requirements

• VCA-Vol is mandatory.
• PMP / Prince2 is a plus.
