DEME Group is seeking experienced Hydrographic Surveyors with offshore or dredging backgrounds to join our survey department. You will organize hydrographic and topographic measurements across all project phases, ensuring accuracy, quality and safety.

Responsibilities include installation and calibration of measurement devices, seabed mapping and bathymetry, precise positioning for offshore structures, processing results with modern software, and reporting progress to project management.

Formación

• Qualified engineer, hydrographer or topographer (survey specialization).
• 5+ years experience as hydrographic surveyor.
• Proficient with modern measurement techniques; AutoCAD and Qinsy.
• Detail-oriented with strong safety standards.
• Rotation 2:1 for dredging or 1:1 offshore across global locations.

Involved in all dredging and offshore projects worldwide, the survey department is responsible for the organization of all hydrographic and topographic measurements in all phases of the works. We are seeking experienced Hydrographic Surveyors with a strong background in offshore and/ or dredging activities.

Your responsibilities

• Installation and calibration of measurement devices to ensure accuracy.


• Mapping the seabed, measuring water depths (bathymetry), and providing precise positioning for construction, such as oil rigs or wind farms.


• Process and interpreting measurement results using cutting edge techniques.


• Mapping the results using specific software.


• Reporting the progress of the works to the project management team.

Your profile

• A qualified engineer, hydrographer or topographer, by preference with a specialization in survey.


• A minimum of 5 years relevant experience as hydrographic surveyor.


• Practical knowledge of modern measurement techniques and familiar with Autocad, Qinsy or similar software.


• An exceptional eye for detail and a commitment to high-quality standards and safety protocols.


• Flexibility to work in a rotational system (2:1 for dredging activities or 1:1 for offshore activities) across global locations.
