Job summary

Candriam seeks a Senior Fund Manager to lead global environmental thematic equity portfolios, combining fundamental stock analysis with quantitative tools to enhance research and decision-making.

You will focus on decarbonization, resource efficiency, sustainable infrastructure, and related themes, contributing to framework improvements and collaborating with ESG, research, risk, and sales teams. English plus French or Dutch required.

Qualifications

• 7–10 years of successful equity portfolio management experience.
• Experience managing global or international strategies.
• Fluency in English plus French or Dutch.

Responsibilities

• Manage global environmental thematic equity portfolios on a day-to-day basis.
• Generate investment ideas by combining quantitative, systematic and fundamental analysis.
• Conduct in-depth research on environmental investment universes.
• Assess business models, valuations, growth prospects and risks.
• Contribute to portfolio construction decisions and risk allocation.
• Adapt portfolios to market developments and sector dynamics.
• Develop analytical tools and quantitative approaches for decision quality.
• Collaborate with ESG, equity research, risk and sales teams.
• Represent the strategy with clients and auditors when required.
