Job summary

HumanInTech in Belgium seeks a seasoned Functional Analyst to bridge business and IT within the public lighting domain for a Belgian energy network operator. You will translate business questions into clear functional requirements and IT solutions and help shape project roadmaps and backlogs.

You will work closely with multiple departments, contribute to agile project delivery, develop functional analyses for development teams, and ensure solutions balance functionality, usability,

Qualifications

• 3+ years as a functional analyst
• 3+ years in energy sector
• 5+ years Agile project experience
• 3+ years in application development with code knowledge
• 3+ years functional testing
• 5+ years Jira and Confluence experience
• Ability to read code and identify bugs
• Dutch fluent (CEFR C2)

Responsibilities

• Bridge business and IT for public lighting solutions.
• Collaborate with departments to build internal networks.
• Translate complex business questions into functional requirements and IT solutions.
• Support creation of project definitions, roadmaps and backlogs.
• Develop functional analyses to guide development teams.
• Balance functionality, usability, maintainability, scalability and cost of solutions.
• Foster stakeholder buy-in with analysts, users, architects and developers.
• Contribute to project implementation and optimisation.
• Carry out small infrastructure realizations and maintenance in public lighting landscape.
• Apply Agile/Scrum, process modelling and continuous improvement.
• Grow knowledge of asset management, network operations, customer interaction, and supply chain systems.
