ITProposal is seeking a Senior Full Stack Java Developer to join an Agile team modernizing a large-scale environmental reporting and validation platform in Belgium. The project involves redesigning and developing modern applications that support regulatory reporting, data validation, and integration with multiple backend systems.

The successful candidate will contribute to both backend and frontend development while participating in technical design, architecture discussions, code quality

Qualifications

Minimum 5 years of Java development experience.
Strong experience with Spring Boot and Angular (2–17).
Hands-on Docker and Kubernetes experience.
Experience writing JUnit tests and REST APIs.
Proficient in Git/Bitbucket and Java/J2EE enterprise development.
Dutch language proficiency at CEFR C2 level.

Responsabilités

Design and review technical analyses and solution designs.
Develop enterprise Java applications using Spring Boot.
Build modern Angular Single Page Applications.
Develop secure RESTful backend services.
Define interfaces between application layers.
Develop and maintain unit tests following TDD.
Perform peer code reviews following GitFlow practices.
Ensure compliance with non-functional requirements including performance, scalability and security.
Collaborate closely with architects, analysts, and Agile teams.
Participate in sprint planning, refinement, reviews, and retrospectives.
Optionally develop Backend-for-Frontend services using Node.js.

Contract Duration: 13 Months (with possible extension)
Workload: 80–100%

Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Senior Full Stack Java Developer to join an Agile development team working on the modernization of a large-scale environmental reporting and validation platform. The project involves redesigning and developing modern applications that support regulatory reporting, data validation, and integration with multiple backend systems.

The successful candidate will contribute to both backend and frontend development while participating in technical design, architecture discussions, code quality initiatives, and Agile delivery.

Key Responsibilities

Design and review technical analyses and solution designs.
Develop enterprise-grade Java applications using Spring Boot.
