Job summary

LRQA Belgium is seeking a skilled auditor to verify management systems in the food industry, with a focus on quality and safety standards. The role involves auditing, client account management, and leadership within a global assurance organization.

You will have a Bachelor's in the food field, at least 5 years of relevant experience, and certifications such as IFS/BRC. Dutch and English (French preferred) language skills are required, with hybrid Belgium-based work.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in the food industry (process and/or technology).
• Minimum of 5 years of work experience in relation to food production & technology in the food industry.
• Holding at least one qualification for 3rd party auditing in IFS Food, BRC Food, IFS Broker, Logistics and/or BRC Packaging.
• Additional qualification for ISO 22000 and/or FSSC 22000 will be an advantage.
• Leadership and management experience.
• Very good communication skills.
• Excellent language skills both spoken and written in Dutch, English and preferably French.

Responsibilities

• Verification of management systems in the food industry individually or as a part of the team.
• Examination and assessment of quality management systems.
• Contribution to improvement of a client's overall food management system.
• Account management - acting as a sparring partner for delivering the audits at our key accounts.
• Food technical Leadership i.e. a subject matter expert in your field of expertise.
• Providing an excellent service to the client and be knowledgeable about the requirements of the accreditation.
• The broadening and deepening of the collaboration with our clients.
• Contribution to development of our services.
