ABOUT YOU SE & Co. KG in Belgium is seeking an experienced Frontend Engineer to build and ship high-impact features for the AY App using Dart and Flutter.

You will contribute to one of the most widely-used applications built with Flutter while collaborating with peers across engineering, product, QA, and design. The role emphasizes UI development, complex frontend logic, code quality, and proactive debt reduction.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of programming experience with app development.
• Proficient in Dart and Flutter.
• Strong UI frontend development skills.
• Write clean, maintainable code and ensure code quality.

Responsibilities

• Build and ship new Flutter features for the AY App.
• Collaborate with engineers, product managers, QA and designers.
• Identify and resolve technical debt and build internal tools.
• Influence team processes through regular agile retrospectives.

• Build and ship new high impact featuresand improvements to the AY App using Dart and Flutter, contributing to one of the most widely-used applications built with Flutter
• Work closely together with other experienced engineers, product managers, QA, and designers to ship new components andhigh-leveragefeatures
• Proactively identify and seek to resolve technical debt and building internal tools to enhance team productivity
• Have a direct impact on team processes by regular agile retrospectives

• 4+ years of programming experience, at least a year of App development experience
• Extensive experience in Dart and Flutter
• Strong expertise in UI development and building complex frontend logic
• Deep understanding of building complex frontend logic
• You write well-structured, efficient and maintainable code and actively keep the quality of the code base in check

Nice to have:

• Design awareness and ability to collaborate closely with designers
• Familiarity with gRPC and Go in a shop backend environment
• expertise in UI and Animation development
