Job summary

ABOUT YOU SE & Co. KG is seeking a garments product developer for a fixed-term parental leave cover. You will work with buying, design, and suppliers to ensure quality, fit, and technical accuracy across the development process.

The role requires experience in product development and garment production, strong pattern knowledge, and excellent English skills. You will translate ideas into final products and collaborate across teams to deliver great fashion.

Qualifications

• Completed studies in garment technology or comparable education.
• First professional experience in product development and/or apparel production.
• Project management skills and a “can do” mentality.
• Strong knowledge of garment specifications, fit, and pattern making.
• Eye for detail and experience in dealing with suppliers and employees at all levels within the department.
• Passion for fashion, enthusiasm, hands‑on mentality, and teamwork skills.
• Proficiency in English.

Responsibilities

• Ensure company standards for quality, fit, and function in close collaboration with buying, designers, and key stakeholders across the organization
• Assist fittings and fit assessments
• Ensure provision of technical information/comments using our PDM system and Adobe Creative Suite
• Collaborate with the buying and/or design teams to support the translation of the original idea into the final product
