VS Consulting Group is expanding its CFO advisory practice in Europe. We seek a Senior Manager who will lead end-to-end CFO transformation engagements, guide project delivery, and shape our advisory capabilities across industries.

You will act as a trusted adviser to CFOs and senior leaders while scaling the finance transformation portfolio with AI-enabled solutions. Strong leadership, client management skills, and English proficiency are essential.

Qualifications

• 8-15+ years of experience in consulting or industry advisory roles.
• Strong expertise in CFO agenda topics: Finance transformation, FP&A, reporting & compliance, data and AI in Finance.
• Proven track record in leading teams and managing complex client engagements.
• Excellent communication skills in English; French and/or Dutch are a strong plus.

The Opportunity

We are looking for a Senior Manager to lead and grow our current CFO Advisory Practice. This role is central to our delivery excellence and practice development, with end-to-end responsibility for project execution, team leadership, and client impact.

You will act as a trusted advisor to CFOs, while also shaping how we scale our Finance transformation capabilities across industries.

Key Responsibilities

1. Delivery Leadership

• Lead complex CFO advisory and transformation engagements (Finance transformation, FP&A modernization, operating model redesign, AI in Finance etc.)
• Ensure high-quality delivery across projects, balancing strategic insight with hands-on execution
• Oversee multiple engagements simultaneously, ensuring timelines, budgets, and client expectations are met or exceeded
• Supervise, coach, and develop consultants and managers within the CFO practice
• Build a high-performance, collaborative, and entrepreneurial team culture
• Contribute to recruitment, onboarding, and capability development
• Serve as a trusted advisor to CFOs, Finance Directors, and senior stakeholders
• Lead executive workshops, steering committees, and transformation roadmaps
• Develop long-term client relationships and identify new advisory opportunities

4. Business Development

• Support and lead proposal development, client pitches, and commercial negotiations
• Identify new market opportunities within Finance transformation and AI-driven Finance
• Contribute to practice growth strategy and go-to-market initiatives

5. Thought Leadership & Innovation

• Contribute to the development of our CFO advisory offerings and methodologies
• Integrate AI, automation, and digital tools into Finance transformation approaches
• Represent VS Consulting Group in industry events and client forums

Your Profile

• 8-15+ years of experience in consulting or industry advisory roles
• Strong expertise in CFO agenda topics:
• Finance transformation
• FP&A and performance management
• Reportings & Compliance
• Data, analytics, and AI in Finance
• Proven track record in leading teams and managing complex client engagements
• Strong executive presence and ability to influence senior stakeholders
• Entrepreneurial mindset with a desire to build and scale a practice
• Excellent communication skills in English, preferably tri-lingual (French and/or Dutch is a strong plus)
