PwC is seeking a Senior Associate for its Assurance practice in Belgium. You will join the Financial Services Governance, Risk & Compliance team within Assurance and work with leading insurers in Belgium and internationally.

The role emphasizes risk, regulation, transformation, and delivering high-quality client outcomes. In a collaborative, inclusive environment, you will build trust and contribute to shaping the future of financial services.

Qualifications

• 2-4 years of experience in consulting, audit or insurance industry.
• Ability to translate complex topics into clear insights and recommendations.
• Fluent in English; Dutch and/or French desirable.

About the team

You'll be part of our Financial Services Governance, Risk & Compliance team within Assurance, working with leading insurers in Belgium and internationally. That's where you come in. In a landscape shaped by regulation, data, digital transformation and evolving client expectations, you'll help insurance companies navigate complexity and transform their organisations. You'll contribute to strengthening their risk, regulatory and operating models while improving efficiency, resilience and long-term performance.

What your day will look like

You contribute to a wide variety of transformation and advisory projects with tangible client impact: Work on risk, regulatory and transformation projects across insurance companies Analyse regulatory developments and assess their impact on governance, processes, systems and operating models Support the design and implementation of target operating models and process improvements Contribute to transformation initiatives, leveraging data, AI and innovative technologies Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and clients to deliver structured, high-quality solutions

What we will expect from you

We're looking for a motivated and impact-driven professional who combines analytical strength with strong collaboration skills: You bring 2-4 years of experience in consulting, audit or the insurance industry (e.g. claims, operations, risk or finance) You take ownership of your workstreams, delivering high-quality and structured outcomes You analyse complex topics and translate them into clear insights and actionable recommendations You engage confidently with clients and contribute to building trusted relationships You collaborate effectively, share knowledge and contribute to a supportive and inclusive team environment You demonstrate a strong learning mindset and proactively develop your expertise in risk, regulation and transformation topics You are comfortable working in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and managing different priorities You are fluent in Dutch and/or French, with full professional proficiency in English You actively contribute to delivering high-quality client outcomes, embrace feedback and continuously grow your expertise, aligned with the expectations of a PwC Professional.
