Job summary

element61 is seeking a Senior Fabric Data Engineer to join the Data Platform & Data Engineering Team in Belgium. You will own data platforms built on Microsoft Fabric for clients, define architecture, make technical decisions and coach colleagues.

You work close to business users, shaping how data reaches reporting via Power BI, Fabric Apps, and Copilot. You will design ETL pipelines, lakehouses, data warehouses in Microsoft Fabric using OneLake, develop semantic models for reports, enforce

Qualifications

4+ years of experience as a data engineer or BI.
2+ years in the cloud, preferably Azure.
Strong data modelling and coding in SQL, Python, PySpark.
Hands-on experience with Microsoft Fabric and Power BI.
Familiar with Purview governance and data lineages.

Responsibilities

Design, build, and maintain ETL pipelines, lakehouses, and data warehouses in Microsoft Fabric using OneLake.
Develop semantic models that work well in Power BI with business users.
Establish data governance, lineage, and access control with Purview.
Bring AI into the platform with Fabric Data Agents and Fabric IQ.
Translate customer questions into technical solutions and implement in Fabric.
Coach colleagues and client teams, and review their work.
