Virtual Connect Solutions seeks a senior IT security professional to lead the F5 AWAF infrastructure, monitor security status, and coordinate crisis response. You will implement and document security policies, perform risk analyses, and advise on securing partner connections across intranet and internet.

The role requires at least 5 years in IT security, strong technical English, and the ability to work autonomously in a Brussels-based environment with possible remote work.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in IT security and autonomous execution.
• Proven ability to intervene effectively in crisis situations and manage security incidents.
• Experience with F5 AWAF, APM, ASM and LTM is required.

Responsabilités

• Manage the F5 Security infrastructure (F5 AWAF, APM, ASM, LTM, Identity Provider, SSL VPN).
• Install, configure and manage F5 AWAF and related components.
• Develop, document and monitor security policies.
• Continuously monitor and assess IT systems' security and protection against threats.
• Respond effectively to crises (attacks, intrusions, viruses).
• Advise on secure connections with external partners via intranet and internet.
• Perform technical risk analyses for management; address vulnerabilities.
