Zusammenfassung

Imec in Leuven, Belgium, is seeking an Equipment Integration Software Engineer to join the Smart Fab team. You will work with developers, analysts, and mentors to build and evolve the CIM application landscape, configuring equipment controller software modules and cloning them for new equipment types.

In a highly international setting, you will test with emulators and direct hardware, contribute to interfacing with the commercial platform, and help grow in-house capabilities for automation

Qualifikationen

5+ years of software development experience, with hardware automation and Java OOP.
Experience or knowledge of semiconductor manufacturing, preferably 300 mm Fab.
Understanding of automation pyramid, equipment state engines, OPC or SECS standards.
Ability to work independently and in a team; diligent and persistent.
Experience in cooperative setups with in-house and external engineers, onsite-remote hybrid collaboration.
Comfortable in a complex, demanding environment.
Fluency in English is essential.

Aufgaben

Configure existing equipment controller software modules; then clone modules for the same equipment type.
Develop equipment controller software modules for new equipment types.
Develop custom solutions interfacing with the commercial Equipment Integration platform.
Participate in equipment model testing with emulators and with hardware.
Work with the team and mentors to establish in-house development capability.
