Job summary

IMEC seeks an Equipment Engineering Data Specialist to drive CIM integration across MES and related software. You will oversee equipment lifecycle stages from procurement through commissioning to production support, ensuring CIM interfaces meet engineering requirements and are testable.

You will work with Metrology equipment and participate in CIM projects, applying Industry 4.0 principles to improve capacity, product quality, and process insight in a highly international environment.

Qualifications

• Master's degree or higher in engineering or exact sciences, or equivalent by experience.
• 5+ years in a complex manufacturing environment with demanding processes and high product mix.
• Experience in CIM projects and familiarity with automation pyramids, OPC/SECS standards.
• Strong English communication, proactive and independent work style.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with MES and CIM software teams to specify and implement equipment communication for CIM integration.
• Support automation and data integration across CIM-enabled processes, MES, SPC, FDC, APC, and AMHS.
