Spacebel in Belgium is seeking a Computer Science/Geomatics engineer to advance EO data management infrastructures and interoperable architectures. You will work with space agencies to evolve data models, metadata definitions, and RESTful service architectures for European Earth Observation programs.

You will analyze mission data requirements, contribute to architectural evolutions, and document technical changes as part of an integrated team with English communication at a high level.

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of distributed software architectures.
• Experience with Open Geospatial Consortium (OGC) standards.
• Knowledge of Earth Observation data models and EO data processing workflows.
• Ability to interpret complex technical specifications and prepare documentation.

Responsabilités

• Analyze new mission data and interface requirements and their potential impact.
• Contribute to evolution of data management architectures for EO systems.
• Provide engineering support as part of an integrated team to the end customer.
• Assess technical impact of new requirements and recommend architectural evolutions.
• Prepare and support Change Requests to improve system architecture and interfaces.
• Contribute to technical experiments or reports for interoperability groups.
