Sopra Steria is seeking a Senior Enterprise Architect to shape the architecture of the Simpl Programme, coordinating functional and technical aspects across a European ecosystem. You will translate regulatory and interoperability requirements into scalable solutions while guiding governance and integration with EU platforms.

In this role you will bridge policy, architecture, security, and technology, collaborating with European institutions, governance teams, and delivery partners to maintain

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in enterprise or solution architecture in complex environments.
• Knowledge of federated architectures, data spaces, cloud-to-edge, interoperability.
• Familiarity with TOGAF, ArchiMate, BPMN modelling approaches.
• Security, privacy, and regulatory requirements knowledge (GDPR, NIS2, ISO 27001).
• Experience with multi-cloud and API-driven integration; CI/CD governance.
• Strong communication to technical and non-technical audiences.

Responsabilités

• Architecture Definition: define and evolve architecture for Simpl-Open and related components.
• Architecture Governance: maintain consistency, apply standards and lifecycle governance.
• EU Interoperability: align with CIM, SAREF, AS4, EIRA, eGovERA standards.
• Programme Collaboration: work with support office and stakeholders on quality and guidelines.
• Ecosystem Integration: enable integration with GAIA-X, EuroHPC, AI Factories.
• Security & Privacy: apply Security-by-Design and Privacy-by-Design principles; GDPR alignment.
• Federated Architecture: promote open standards and modular blocks for interoperability.
• Technical Guidance: advise delivery teams and resolve complex design challenges.
• Stakeholder Engagement: run architecture discussions with EU bodies, contractors, experts.
• Architecture Communication: translate decisions into documentation and roadmaps.
