Nalys is seeking a Senior Engineering Project Manager to lead complex engineering and CAPEX projects within a major pharmaceutical manufacturing environment.

Reporting to Site Leadership, you will own budgets, drive cross‑functional collaboration, and ensure GMP compliance while delivering on time and within scope. English and French fluency are required to liaise with global stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of experience in pharmaceutical, biotech or regulated manufacturing environments.
• Strong track record managing significant CAPEX and industrial engineering projects.
• Solid understanding of manufacturing and production environments.
• Experience owning budgets and CAPEX with strong financial acumen.
• Able to present, challenge and defend recommendations at SLT/senior management levels.
• Demonstrated leadership and influencing capabilities in matrix organizations.
• Able to align stakeholders and drive decisions across functions.
• Autonomous, pragmatic, structured, solution-oriented with excellent communication.
• Fluent in English and French.
• Experience in aseptic manufacturing, Fill & Finish, cleanrooms, C&Q or validation is a plus.

Responsabilités

• Lead engineering and CAPEX projects from concept through execution, commissioning, qualification and handover.
• Define project strategy, scope, planning, resources and budget.
• Take ownership of CAPEX, forecasts, costs, risks and timelines.
• Present and defend budgets, investments and project recommendations to Site Leadership Team.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary stakeholders across Engineering, Production, Quality, Validation, Maintenance, EHS and Procurement.
• Challenge options and drive pragmatic, sustainable decisions.
• Manage engineering partners, suppliers and contractors.
• Anticipate and mitigate technical, operational, financial and planning risks.
• Ensure GMP, safety and site engineering standards compliance.
• Provide clear project governance, communication and escalation to senior management.
