Job summary

Westinghouse Electric Company in Belgium (Nivelles) seeks an experienced SSA Senior Engineer to join the Systems and Safety Analysis group on a full-time basis. The role is hybrid, reporting to the SSA Manager, with regular collaboration across international project teams and occasional travel to customer sites or workshops.

You will perform engineering evaluations for nuclear safety, develop thermo-hydraulic inputs, assess radiological consequences, and contribute to licensing documentation.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in engineering or related field.
• More than 7 years of safety analysis experience for nuclear plants.
• Experience with CFD, RELAP/TRAC, GOTHIC and programming is valued.
• Fluent English with good reporting skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform engineering analyses to support nuclear plant safety and operation.
• Prepare inputs for thermo-hydraulic codes for transient analyses.
• Develop fluid systems calculations for sizing and performance.
• Assess dose calculations and radiological consequences of accidents.
• Run safety analysis codes and document results.
• Contribute to licensing documentation and project teams.
