HMS Networks in Belgium is seeking an experienced R&D Firmware Engineer to join the Gateway/Firmware team and contribute to developing advanced firmware products. You will work in a self-organized development team, collaborating with Product Owners and R&D managers to deliver robust firmware solutions across the product lifecycle.
The role emphasizes Agile/Scrum practices, cross-team collaboration, and adapting to new technologies while delivering high-quality embedded software in a fast-growing
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or master's degree in engineering (software environment).
- 5–10 years of relevant experience.
- Strong proficiency in Python (mandatory).
- Solid experience with asynchronous programming.
- Knowledge of C++ is a plus.
- Full professional proficiency in English and French (mandatory).
Responsabilités
- Participate actively in Agile/Scrum ceremonies within the firmware team.
- Contribute to firmware development for our product range.
- Analyze technical and business requirements to translate them into robust technical solutions.
- Collaborate daily and coordinate with the Firmware team and bi-weekly with other firmware teams and programs.
- Support the team in adapting to new products and evolving technologies.
- Contribute positively within a dynamic environment.
