HMS Networks is seeking an experienced R&D Firmware Engineer to join the Gateway/Firmware team in our IDS division. You will develop and maintain firmware, from low-level drivers to embedded applications, collaborating with cross-functional teams and product owners.

The role requires strong Python skills, asynchronous programming experience, and fluency in English and French, with a background in software engineering and embedded systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or master's degree in engineering (software).
• 5–10 years of relevant firmware/embedded experience.
• Proficiency in Python (mandatory).
• Solid experience with asynchronous programming.
• Knowledge of C++ is a plus.
• Full professional proficiency in English and French.

Responsabilités

• Participate actively in Agile/Scrum ceremonies within the firmware team.
• Contribute to firmware development for our product range.
• Analyze technical and business requirements to translate them into robust technical solutions.
• Collaborate daily and coordinate with the Firmware team and bi-weekly with other firmware teams and programs.
• Support the team in adapting to new products and evolving technologies.
• Contribute positively within a dynamic environment.
