Eaton Corporation in Dublin, Ireland is seeking a Design & Engineering Manager (Electrical) for its Data Centre Segment. You will lead electrical design from concept through construction, delivering high-quality, scalable data centre solutions.

This role combines strategic leadership with hands-on engineering, mentoring teams and collaborating with clients and internal stakeholders to ensure resilient electrical infrastructure across projects.

Qualifications

• Degree in Electrical Engineering (BSc or MSc).
• 8–10 years of relevant experience in mission-critical facilities.
• Experience with medium- and low-voltage power, transformers, UPS, and standby gens.
• Knowledge of electrical codes and industry standards.
• Experience with value engineering and new tech integration.
• Familiarity with AutoCAD and Revit is advantageous.

Responsabilités

• Act as Design Manager on data centre projects, leading electrical design from concept to closeout.
• Hands-on electrical design leadership and ownership of critical design aspects.
• Lead and coordinate electrical engineers and SMEs within a multidisciplinary team.
• Manage design deliverables, resources, schedules and quality.
• Provide mentorship to the DC Design & Engineering team.
• Review and approve designs, calculations, and specifications; facilitate peer reviews.
• Attend client, contractor, and Eaton meetings as technical lead.
