Job summary

FTI Brussels is seeking a Senior Director in Financial Services to lead client accounts, shape strategic policy engagement and grow the practice in a dynamic regulatory environment. You will manage senior client relationships, mentor junior colleagues, and collaborate with EU policymakers and industry stakeholders to develop and win new business for the firm.

The role requires deep experience in public affairs, excellent communication skills, and the ability to translate complex policy issues

Qualifications

• 5+ years' experience in a consultancy, in-house, trade body, public institution or advising clients on policy and communications issues.
• Proven skills in public affairs, advocacy, issues and reputation management in Financial Services.
• Excellent understanding and experience of working with policymakers and stakeholders in Brussels and in national capitals to develop strategic objectives, and strong knowledge of the Financial Services sector regulation and policy discussions.
• Excellent English with one or two additional languages preferable.

Responsibilities

• Deliver to clients: provide strategic advice to a portfolio of clients, manage accounts on a day-to-day basis and develop excellent relationships with client groups.
• Build the business: Strategize on growth and seek out new business leads by working alongside other senior members of the team on business development activities and strategy.
• Team involvement: Line management in the team and knowledge sharing and mentoring junior team members.
• Networking: proactively network with EU contacts and stakeholders as well as potential clients.
