Job summary

EPAM Systems Inc in Brussels is seeking a Design Lead to join our hybrid Brussels team. We’re looking for a design leader with deep expertise in brand and digital design, someone who pulls the best work out of the people around them.

Think creative concepts, visual narratives, brand identity in every form it can take. You connect creative thinking to business objectives instinctively; strategy shows up in the work itself, not as a separate step bolted on afterward.

Qualifications

• Minimum 8 years of design experience with a strong UI/brand/product portfolio.
• Advanced Figma, AI tools and Adobe Creative Suite skills.
• Fluent in spoken and written English.
• Solid understanding of UI/UX principles, accessibility and design systems.
• Proven ability to lead projects or teams.
• Strong communication skills, comfortable presenting and defending ideas.
• Self-starter able to manage projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Design or related field.
• Nice to have interest in motion, illustration, 3D, frontend or generative AI.

• Collaborate with strategists, developers, 3D artists, motion designers and copywriters to bring ideas to life.
• Present and defend design decisions with clients and stakeholders.

• Run pitches for new business.
• Inspire peers by sharing trends, proposing sessions and advocating design culture.
