Wlgroup in Mons, Belgium, is seeking a senior DevOps-enabled engineer to design, build and prove deployable communications systems in a field environment. You will lead technical support teams during exercises and mentor juniors, ensuring procedures are documented and repeatable.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from a recognised university in a related discipline, or demonstrable ability and experience in the field.
• Deployable or field communications infrastructure experience.
• Genuine DevOps practice: automation, monitoring, and continuous change.
• Seniority to lead a support team through an exercise and be the final escalation.

Responsabilités

• Provide professional and technical contribution to design, development and execution of deployable communications engineering projects.
• Work in a DevOps environment — CI/CD, automated deployment, and system monitoring.
• Support junior staff across incidents, service requests and problems as the senior engineer.
• Plan, schedule, participate in and lead technical support teams for projects and exercises.
• Document designs, implementations, and troubleshooting guides for services you own.
• Provide on-the-job training to keep the support capability sharp.
• Deputise for higher-grade staff when required.
