Job summary

Spektrum is seeking an ICT/CIS standards engineer to support NATO-related projects in Brussels. The role focuses on developing and maintaining CIS technical standards and reference architectures in a high-security, multi-domain environment.

You will lead modelling efforts, define conformance criteria, and contribute to NATO standardization artifacts while ensuring interoperability across BLoS, LoS, SATCOM, and network domains. On-site work in Belgium is required.

Qualifications

• University degree in a CIS field or equivalent technical qualification.
• Experience with NATO CIS technical specifications in operational environments (5+ years).
• Proven ability to translate complex specifications into actionable guidance.

Responsibilities

• Model reference architectures using ArchiMate.
• Develop conformance criteria for NATO communications standards.
• Contribute to NATO standardization artefacts (STANAGs, AComP, SRD).
• Support interoperability across NATO CIS systems and governance activities.
