LACO in Belgium is seeking a Senior Databricks Data Engineer to lead impactful data projects while working on cutting-edge Azure & Databricks technologies. This role offers end-to-end ownership from architecture to deployment, enhancing team collaboration and mentoring.

The ideal candidate has over 5 years in data engineering, a solid background in data modelling and cloud architecture, and is fluent in Dutch and/or French, plus English. Enjoy the flexibility of hybrid work with substantial annual leave.

Qualifications

• 5+ years experience in data engineering with strong ownership.
• Solid background in data modelling & cloud architecture.
• Fluent in Dutch and/or French + English.

Responsabilités

• Designing and optimizing scalable Databricks & Spark pipelines.
• Building robust ETL/ELT solutions (batch & streaming).
• Defining best practices in cloud architecture, CI/CD, security & governance.
• Collaborating with stakeholders to deliver data solutions that matter.
• Pushing the boundaries of Azure & big data technologies.
