Sogeti Belgium is seeking a senior data engineer to design, implement and operate Databricks-based data solutions in complex enterprise environments. You will own end-to-end Databricks workloads, from ingestion and transformation to optimization and reliable delivery, collaborating with data architects, analytics consultants, and client teams.

The role requires hands-on Spark/PySpark experience, Delta Lake knowledge, strong SQL/data modeling skills, and professional English and Dutch.

Qualifications

• Senior data engineer with Databricks experience.
• Hands-on Spark/PySpark in production.
• Delta Lake and lakehouse knowledge.
• Strong SQL and data modelling skills.
• English and Dutch proficiency required; French a plus.

Responsabilités

• Design scalable data pipelines using Databricks and Spark.
• Own end-to-end Databricks workloads from ingestion to delivery.
• Collaborate with data architects, analytics consultants, and client teams.
• Optimize performance, stability, and cost of Databricks workloads.
• Ensure data availability and quality for analytics, AI and advanced use cases.
