Johnson & Johnson's R&D Data Science team seeks a Senior Data Scientist to leverage ML, data engineering, and domain knowledge to drive safety decisions within PSTS. You will create AI-ready datasets and predictive models with toxicology, PK/PD, and in vivo researchers.

The role requires hands-on ML and data engineering, strong communication, and the ability to translate study designs into computational requirements for scalable, high-quality data solutions.

Qualifications

• Advanced degree in data science, computational biology, toxicology, pharmacology, biomedical engineering, or related field.
• 2+ years applying ML or data engineering to scientific or biomedical data.
• Proficiency with Python and/or R, SQL, and data engineering tooling.
• Experience with ML model development, evaluation, and deployment pipelines.
• Experience with biological, toxicology, PK-PD, or in vivo datasets.

Responsabilités

• Develop ML/AI models to support safety signal detection and translational interpretation.
• Build scalable data pipelines for PSTS data sources.
• Transform outputs into standardized AI-ready datasets using Python and R.
• Collaborate with toxicology, DMPK, and safety stakeholders to translate study designs into computational requirements.
