Appsierra Group in Brussels, Belgium is seeking a Data Governance Specialist with extensive experience in data governance and data quality, leveraging DAMA-DMBOK frameworks to shape enterprise data practices and policies.

You will develop and monitor governance frameworks, drive data quality initiatives, work with IT and data management teams, and manage metadata using Collibra, Informatica, and Ovaledge, while communicating findings to stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Minimum 7 years of experience in data governance and data quality.
• Proficiency in French and/or Dutch, with English as an asset.
• Strong knowledge of data governance frameworks (DAMA-DMBOK).
• Experience with metadata management tools (Collibra, Informatica, Ovaledge).
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills.

Responsabilités

• Develop and maintain data governance frameworks and policies.
• Ensure data quality standards and monitor data quality metrics.
• Collaborate with Data Management and IT teams to implement data methodologies and technologies.
• Document data governance processes and present findings to stakeholders.
• Manage metadata using tools such as Collibra, Informatica, and Ovaledge.
• Facilitate change management initiatives and build internal networks across departments.
