A Belgium-based healthcare organization is seeking a Senior Data Engineer / Data Engineering Lead to build and scale a modern data ecosystem on Microsoft Fabric, Azure and analytics platforms.

You will design and maintain data pipelines, and develop Data Lake/warehouse solutions while implementing data quality, observability and CI/CD practices. English is mandatory, and Dutch or French are strong assets for collaboration.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience as a Data Engineer.
• Strong SQL and Python expertise.
• Experience with Spark, HIVE or similar Big Data technologies.
• Strong knowledge of Azure Data Services and/or AWS.
• Experience with Microsoft Fabric, Synapse, Data Factory or equivalent platforms.
• Experience with ETL/ELT processes and cloud-based data architectures.
• Understanding of Data Quality, CI/CD and DevOps principles for data platforms.
• English proficiency (mandatory).
• Dutch and/or French is considered a strong asset.

Responsabilités

• Designing, building and maintaining robust data pipelines and integrations.
• Developing scalable Data Lake, Data Warehouse and Data Mart solutions.
• Implementing data quality, monitoring and observability practices.
• Supporting BI, Analytics and Data Science teams with trusted datasets.
• Driving data engineering standards, best practices and architecture decisions.
• Coaching and mentoring teams while contributing to the long-term data roadmap.
