Senior Data Engineer - MS Fabric - Securex

Dates: 2026-09-21 — 2026-12-31

Arrangements: Full time; hybrid; duration indicated as 4 months; up to 2 candidates can be proposed.

Securex is starting a learning and implementation journey with Microsoft Fabric and needs an experienced Senior Data Engineer to help drive it. The consultant will support the end-to-end implementation from the initial foundation through production-ready solutions. The assignment is deliberately hands‑on, with an emphasis on building rather than only designing. The role also involves demonstrating optimal approaches and applying industry best practices.

A major technical focus is the design and construction of a Medallion Architecture within Microsoft Fabric. The consultant will develop scalable and reliable data pipelines using Python notebooks and Fabric Data Engineering tools. Power BI DevOps practices will be integrated into the data development workflow. The requested profile also brings advanced capabilities across data architecture, data lakes, data transfer, data visualization, and Microsoft BI.

Knowledge transfer is central to the assignment, because Securex wants the expertise to remain embedded in its internal data team. The consultant will provide hands‑on coaching, workshops, and knowledge-transfer sessions while explaining complex concepts clearly. Close collaboration with internal stakeholders is required to enable a smooth handover and long‑term ownership. The role therefore combines senior technical delivery, initiative leadership, collaborative teamwork, and practical problem solving.
