Job summary

Orange Business in Brussels is seeking a Data Engineer to join our Digital & Data team. You will develop data models, implement pipelines, and deploy updates using modern cloud technologies, shaping data solutions for enterprise clients.

The role requires at least 3 years in data engineering, strong SQL, and experience with at least one cloud platform (Azure, AWS or Google Cloud). Fluency in French/Dutch and English is a plus; we offer a hybrid work model in Brussels with a competitive package.

Qualifications

• Master’s or bachelor’s degree in IT or a related field.
• At least 3 years’ experience as a Data Engineer.
• Knowledge of Data Warehousing and Data Modeling (Data Vault, Star schemas).
• Strong SQL knowledge.
• Experience with one cloud provider: Azure, Google Cloud or AWS.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and development of data pipelines and data models.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business needs into technical solutions.
• Automate deployment and ensure data quality and governance.
• Mentor teammates and share knowledge in the Cloud and Data Academy sessions.
