Orange Business in Brussels is seeking a Team Lead Data Ops Engineering - Consultant to lead a 10–15 consultant team, delivering data solutions in cloud environments while guiding business development and staffing. You will maintain hands-on delivery on data projects and mentor colleagues.

You will shape strategy with data team leads, foster a culture of excellence, and drive recruitment and capability building to meet evolving client needs. Fluency in French/Dutch/English beneficial.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree or PhD in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Engineering, Business Engineering, Physics or related field.
• At least 5 years of relevant experience as Data/DevOps/Software Engineer.
• Strong interest in data management (databases and ETL).
• Programming: strong SQL and Python knowledge.
• Deployment and orchestration: Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, Airflow, etc.
• Data-oriented mindset with data modeling and architecture concepts.

Responsabilités

• Team Leadership: mentor and manage a 10–15 consultant team, build team spirit.
• Strategy: define and implement team strategy with Data & Cloud leads.
• Culture & Development: foster innovative, excellent culture; guide training plans.
• Recruitment & Capability Building: recruit resources and align skills with needs.
• Sales & Business Development: support staffing requests, RFIs, RFPs; contribute solutions.
• Consultant staffing: optimize staffing based on performance and client needs.
• Consulting & Delivery: continue as a consultant on data engineering projects in cloud environments.
