Collibra seeks a Senior Data Engineer to evolve our internal self-service data platform within the Data Office. You will build cloud-based data infra on GCP, drive data product enablement, and partner with cross-functional stakeholders to deliver value.

Based in Brussels with a hybrid model of two days in the office, you’ll own ETL orchestration (Airflow, dbt), Python/SQL coding, and ensure data governance and security. A senior, hands-on contributor ready to scale data at Collibra.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of data engineering operations with a focus on data modeling.
• Experience building cloud-based data infra on GCP using IaC (Terraform) and warehousing/storage tech.
• Proficient with ETL orchestration (Airflow), Python, SQL (dbt).
• Familiar with containerized workloads (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Interest in applying AI/LLM tooling to data workflows is a plus.
• Data assets governance, documentation, and discoverability emphasis.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent required.

Responsabilités

• Continuously evolve self-service data infrastructure for data products.
• Manage and support data extraction/ transformation tools for data product owners.
• Build and manage cloud infrastructure to deliver business value and enhance data security.
• Collaborate with Finance, Marketing, Product, Sales, and other stakeholders to plan requirements.
