A multinational defence organisation based in Mons is seeking a senior, hands-on cyber security engineer to plan, build, test and hand over end-to-end cyber security capabilities. The role is on-site with occasional travel to other locations.

You will design and deliver security solutions, configure tools, and provide documentation, baselines and training to operations teams. English fluency and a strong track record in security engineering are essential.

Qualifications

• Five+ years of hands-on cyber security engineering.
• Broad working knowledge of boundary protection: firewalls, IDS/IPS, traffic aggregation, data diodes, encryption, IAM
• Recent experience with Juniper, Palo Alto, web proxies, Splunk, Tenable.SC, Nessus and Fidelis
• Infrastructure design skills across routing, switching and VMware virtualization
• Track record of delivering security capabilities into live operational environments - installation through to handover
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent depth of experience
• Nice to have: work for or alongside military or government organisations

Responsabilités

• Advising on security architecture, tool configuration and integration

A multinational defence organisation in Mons needs a senior, hands-on engineer to deliver its cyber security capabilities end to end: plan the change, build and test it, document it, and hand it to the people who will run it. On site, with occasional travel to other locations.

What you would be doing

• Planning deliveries: writing up designs and change requests and steering them through approval with project managers, engineers and operational stakeholders
• Installing, configuring and testing network tapping and aggregation equipment
• Deploying and tuning vulnerability assessment, forensics and monitoring tools - Tenable.SC, Nessus, Fidelis and Splunk among them

• Excellent English, written and spoken, and a bachelor's degree or equivalent depth of experience
• Nice to have: work for or alongside military or government organisations
