Job summary

A multinational defence organisation in Mons is looking for a senior engineer who can think likean architect, write requirements people can build from, and still dig into a suspected attack.

What you would be doing

• Shaping solution architectures for cyber security capabilities, on premises and in the cloud
• Weighing alternative designs on cost, performance and scalability, and recording the decisions
• Running risk and business impact analysis and designing countermeasures
• Defining, prioritising and baselining requirements with stakeholders
• Writing and reviewing security requirements for acquisition projects and helping evaluate bids
• Supporting incident handling and presenting technical findings in working groups

What you would bring

• At least 3 years of hands‑on work developing or delivering cyber security services
• Strong experience finding vulnerabilities and potential threats
• Practical knowledge of cryptography and key management, identity and access management and risk management
• Familiarity with network monitoring and detection, and with security design on cloud infrastructure
• Architecture modelling skills, including ArchiMate
• A CISSP, CISM or GIAC certification, and experience leading small teams
• A Bachelor's degree and 3 years of relevant experience, or 10 years of progressive experience instead
