Catalyst Talent Strategy Consulting is assisting a global leader in e-commerce logistics with a Belgium-based role focused on customs clearance excellence. You will develop and implement strategies to enhance clearance capabilities and oversee all shipments.

You will liaise with authorities, manage documentation, train staff, and analyze data to optimize processes while staying current on tax laws and regulations. Strong English and French skills are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
• 3+ years front-line customs clearance experience for B2C.
• Fluent in English and French.

Responsabilités

• Develop and implement strategies to enhance the company's customs clearance capability.
• Oversee the customs clearance process for all shipments, ensuring compliance with local regulations.
• Manage customs clearance documentation, tariff classifications, valuation, and duty calculations.
• Liaise with customs authorities, agents, and relevant parties to resolve issues for timely clearance.
• Stay informed about changes in customs regulations and update internal processes.
• Train staff on customs clearance processes and requirements.
• Analyze customs clearance data to identify areas for improvement and optimize processes.
