Euroclear is seeking a strategic leader to define and execute its corporate strategy in collaboration with senior management. You will monitor market trends, lead cross-functional teams on key projects, and drive capital markets initiatives across the organization.

The role requires strong communication, coaching, and stakeholder management skills, with a track record in strategic consulting and finance. This position offers international exposure within a dynamic environment.

Qualifications

• 7 to 10 years in corporate strategy or strategic consulting (e.g. McKinsey, Bain, BCG, Oliver Wyman), preferably in financial services.
• Background from leading strategy consultancy, ideally with senior roles such as Senior Associate, Junior Manager, or Manager.
• Experience developing business strategies and action plans.
• In-depth knowledge of financial markets, regulatory requirements, and industry trends.

Key Responsibilities:

• Strategic Leadership: Support definition and execution of Euroclear’s Corporate Strategy agenda in close collaboration with senior Euroclear management.
• Market Analysis: Monitor and analyze industry trends, market conditions, and the competitive landscape to advise strategic decision-making.
• Cross-Functional Leadership: Lead cross-functional teams in the development and execution of strategic projects.
• Major Projects Management: Set-up and run major projects based on ExCo mandates connected to strategy, capital markets and related topics.
• Strategic Planning: Support the strategic planning and investor communication process (in close cooperation with Finance and other relevant stakeholders).

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, Finance, or a related field; MBA or CFA certification preferred.
• Proven track record of 7 to 10 years in corporate strategy or strategic consulting (e.g. McKinsey, Bain, BCG, Oliver Wyman), preferably within a financial services focus.
• A background in a leading strategy consultancy is highly valued, ideally with prior experience in roles broadly comparable to Senior Associate, Junior Manager, or Manager.
• Experience in developing business strategies and action plans.
• In-depth knowledge of financial markets, regulatory requirements, and industry trends is preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to lead and manage teams.
• Outstanding communication and presentation skills.
• Strong analytical, problem solving and critical thinking abilities.
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build and maintain relationships with internal and external collaborators, senior executives, and board members.
