Jobtailor, based in Belgium, is seeking a Procurement Manager to oversee tendering, supplier evaluation, and contractual compliance. The role involves researching markets, advising on sourcing models, and negotiating terms with partners to optimize procurement outcomes.

The ideal candidate will have a degree in a related discipline and substantial procurement leadership experience, including contract administration and ERP tooling expertise.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related discipline is required.
• 3 years post-related experience or 10 years extensive and progressive expertise.
• Strong interest and experience leading complex Acquisition, Procurement and Contractual matters.
• Experience at Contracts Manager or Procuring Contracting Officer level.
• Solid understanding of competitive and sole source procurement, negotiation and contract law.
• Proven ability to communicate effectively with upper management.
• Experience with automated tools and ERP procurement systems.

Responsabilités

• Manages tender, evaluation and acquisition processes.
• Researches suppliers and markets to inform and develop sourcing plans.
• Advises on business case for alternative sourcing models.
• Advises on policy covering tendering, supplier selection and procurement.
• Negotiates with partners and suppliers, developing acceptance criteria and procedures.
• Oversees and measures fulfilment of contractual obligations.
• Uses KPIs to monitor performance and drive improvements.
• Develops strategies to address under-performance and compliance failures.
• Reviews and ensures compliance with policies and procedures.
• Works with complex procurement programs and activities.
• Builds key relationships with other business functions and providers.
• Records documents of purchasing tasks such as orders and bidding.
• Uses available procurement systems and tools.
• Ensures compliance with procurement regulations and contract specifications.
