Job summary

Ecorys Brussels is seeking a Senior Consultant in Natural Resources Economics to lead EU policy research and consultancy projects. You will apply economic analysis to environmental and natural resource policy, combining analytical skills with project management, client engagement and business development.

You will lead evaluations in agriculture, land use, biodiversity, forestry, climate and energy, design methods, manage European projects and communicate findings to clients.

Qualifications

• University degree in economics or closely related field.
• Strong expertise in natural resource and environmental policy.
• Experience with EU policy research or consultancy and policy evaluation/impact assessment.

Responsibilities

• Lead and contribute to EU policy evaluations, impact assessments and research studies (agriculture, land use, biodiversity, forestry, climate and energy).
• Design and apply economic and policy analysis methods, including quantitative approaches.
• Manage medium- to large-sized European projects with multidisciplinary teams.
• Produce high-quality analytical reports and presentations for clients and stakeholders.
• Identify business opportunities and contribute to EU tenders or proposals.
